France Tourist Visa Requirements

a) Please bring your original passport with a minimum of six-month validity after the intended departure date and get your previous passports. Bring a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamps.
b). bring all Copies of previous passports and visas issued. If you any have.
c). if any old passport. Attach all your old passports. The applicants have to provide a photocopy of their passports with the first & last page.
d) If a visa request is denied the original letter issued by the authorities of that country should be provided.

2) France Visa Application Form

a. The applicant must fill out and sign a visa application form.

3) Photographic Specifications:

a.Two recent passport-size photos with a matt or semi-matt finish, 60-80 percent face coverage, a white background, and no borders (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please remember that photographs should not be older than three months, should be scanned/stapled, and should not have been used in any previous visas.

4) Covering-Letter:

a. Covering Letter stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be responsible for the entire cost of the trip (travel, lodging, expenses, etc.). Addressed to: The Visa Officer, French Embassy in Dhaka

5) Letter of Invitation:

(If applicable)

6) Forwarding-Letter:

a. A letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority on company letterhead stating the applicant’s name, passport number, designation purpose, and duration of the visit.

b. Letter of request for a visa from the educational institute or student card/proof of school enrollment (if student)

7) Documentation of Occupation:

If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, he or she must provide a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original).

8) Financials:

a. A company’s or personal bank statement for the last six months that clearly states the bank’s name and telephone number.
b. Salary slips for the previous six months (If applicable)

Appointments at the Visa section are required:
because of an increase in the number of applications, the current wait time for a meeting with this Embassy’s visa section is three weeks. Because visas take one week to process from the date of application, applicants are encouraged to schedule a meeting as soon as possible plan accordingly.
