Korea (DPR) North Business Visa

1. Passport: 

Need an original passport with at least six months validity beyond the anticipated travel date and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping is required.

• A copy of any previous passports or visas that have been issued.
• Include all of your previous passports (if any).
• If a visa request is denied, the information of the original letter sent by the country’s authorities are preferable.

2. North Korea (DPR) Visa Application Form: 

The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

3. Photo requirements: 

Two recent passport-sized photos with a matt or semi-matt quality, 60-80% facial coverage, white backdrop, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note: The photograph must be less than 3 months old, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any previous visas.

4. Covering-Letter: 

A covering letter from the application detailing the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be responsible for the entire trip’s costs, including travel, lodging, and expenses. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Korean Embassy (North), Dhaka.

5. Letter of Invitation: 

(If Any)

6. Forwarding-Letter: 

•  On the applicant’s company letterhead, a forwarding letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.
• A letter from the educational institution requesting a visa or a student card/proof of school enrollment (if student)

7. Proof of Occupation: 

•  If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and original photocopy).
•  Copies of the office ID card and visitor cards.

8. Financials: 

• Company or personal bank statement for the previous six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and phone number.
•  Pay stub for the previous six months. (If applicable)

9. Airline and Hotel Reservations: 

Ticket Itinerary and Hotel Reservation
