Visa requirements for business

1. Passport: 

An original passport that has at least six months validity beyond your intended departure date and minimum 2 blank pages for visa stamping is required.

• a) A copy of any previous passports or visas that have been issued.
• b) Include all of your previous passports (if any).
• c) If a visa request is denied, the information of the original letter sent by the country’s authorities is preferable.

      2. Application for a Visa:

The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

3. Photo Information:

• Two current passport photos with a matte or semi-matt texture, 60-80% facial coverage, white background, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
• Please note that the photograph must be less than 3 months old, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any previous visas.

      4. Covering-Letter No.

• Name, designation, passport number, purpose, and a statement describing who will be paying for the entire cost of the trip – travel, lodging, expenses, and so on. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka.

5. Letter of Invitation:

6. Forwarding-Letter: 

• a) On the applicant’s company letterhead, a forwarding letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.

• b) A letter from the educational institution requesting a visa or a student card/proof of school enrollment (if student)

       7. Occupation Proof:

• a) If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a sole proprietor, a) Company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and original photocopy).
• b) Copies of the office ID card and visitor cards

       8. Financials: 

• Company or personal bank statement for the previous six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and phone number.
• Pay stub for the previous six months. (If applicable)
