- Tourist Visa Requirement
- Passport:
An original passport with minimum 6 months validity beyond the anticipated travel date and at least two blank pages for visa stamping is required including your previous passport.
- Visa Application Forms:
Two completed and signed visa application forms. It is possible to use a photocopy. To obtain a visa application, please go here.
- Photographs:
three recent passport-size photos
Finished in a matt or semi-matt finish,
Photographs with a white backdrop and no border should be used.
Face covering of 60-80 percent (Size: 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm).
- Covering-Letter:
A covering letter from the applicant detailing his or her name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be liable for the entire cost of the trip, including travel, lodging, and expenses. The Visa Officer, Rwanda High Commission, New Delhi should get the letter. In the subject line, the visa category must be specified.
- Trip Details:
Itinerary for each day of the trip or a tour voucher from a licensed travel operator.
- Occupation Proof:
A letter from the office, such as a NOC/LOI letter on the organization’s letterhead pad, indicating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, duration of visit, sponsorship status, and other information. The Visa Officer, Rwanda High Commission, New Delhi is who I’m writing to.
If you’re self-employed or a company owner, you’ll need a trade license, a certificate of incorporation, or a memorandum.

- Financials:
Original copy of bank statement (salary)/personal bank statement for the last six months, clearly stating the bank’s name, telephone number, and authorized bank seal and signature (e-statement is not acceptable)
Company Bank Statement for the previous six months, explicitly stating the bank’s name and telephone number (if self-employed/businessman).
- Ticket:
Itinerary for your ticket based on your travel dates.
- Hotel Reservation:
Make a hotel reservation for the duration of your trip.
- Yellow fever certificate is necessary.

Concerns about Rwanda Bangladeshi nationals who wish to travel for a short-term visit can apply for an electronic visa, that is also known as an e-visa. The Rwanda e-visa is a conditional license granted by the federal Immigration authority to a foreigner to enter, remain in, or depart the country before the authorization’s validity expires.
The Rwanda e-visa allows an applicant to apply online with scanned copies of a limited number of papers, have the visa processed quickly, and receive the visa in the form of a PDF/Doc file through email. Although the Rwanda e-visa is a legitimate visa permit, it does not ensure entry into Rwandan territory. The immigration authority retains the final decision on whether or not to grant entry permission.
