Sri Lanka Business Visa

1. Passport: ) Please bring your original passport with a minimum of six-month validity after the intended departure date and get your previous passports. Bring a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamps.

 

a. Copies of previous passports and visas.

 

b. Include all of your previous passports (if any).

 

c. If a visa request is denied, the original letter issued by the authorities of that country is preferred.

 

2. Visa Application Form for Sri Lanka:

 

One visa application form is printed back to back, duly filled, and signed by the Applicant. 

Two recent passport-size photos with a matt or semi-matt finish, 60-80 percent face coverage, a white background, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please remember that photographs should not be older than three months, should be scanned, or Previous visas should not have been stapled. 

 

Covering Letter:

 

Cover letter from the applicant outlining the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be responsible for the entire trip’s cost – travel, lodging, expenses, and so on.

 

Addressed to – The Visa Officer, Sri Lankan Embassy, Dhaka

5. Letter of Invitation:

 

(If applicable)

 

6. Letter of Recommendation:

 

a) A letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority on company letterhead stating the applicant’s name,  passport number, designation, duration of visit, and purpose.

b) A visa request letter from the educational institute or a student card/proof of enrollment in school (if student)

 

7. Occupation Proof:

 

If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, he or she must provide a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original).

b) Copies of the office ID card and visiting cards

8. Finances:

 

a) Company or personal bank statement for the last six months mentioning the bank’s name and telephone number.

b) Salary slip for the previous six months (If applicable)

 

9. Hotel & Ticket Reservations:

 

Itinerary for tickets and hotel reservations.
