1. Travel document:

Please bring your original passport with a minimum of six-month validity after the intended departure date and get your previous passports. Bring a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamps.

a. Copies of previous passports and visas.

b. Include all of your previous passports (if any).

c. If a visa request is denied, the original letter issued by the authorities of that country is preferred.

2. Visa Application Form for Sweden:

: One visa application form is printed back to back, duly filled, and signed by the Applicant.

3. Photo Specification:

Two recent passport-size photos with a matt or semi-matt finish, 60-80 percent face coverage, a white background, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please keep in mind that photographs should not be older than three months. It was scanned/stapled and should not have been used in any previous visas.

Covering Letter:

Covering letter from the applicant outlining the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will take whole responsible for the entire expenses of the trip – travel, lodging, expenses, and so on. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Swedish Embassy in Dhaka.

6. Letter of Recommendation:

a. A letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority on company letterhead stating the applicant’s name, passport number, purpose, designation, and duration of the visit.

b. Letter of request for a visa from the educational institute or student card/proof of school enrollment (if student)

7. Occupation Proof:

If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, they must provide a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original).

8. Financials:

a. A company’s or personal bank statement for the last six months that clearly states the bank’s name and telephone number.

b. Salary slips for the previous six months (If applicable)

Schengen visas are granted for tourist or short-term visit visas to Sweden. VFS Global will accept Schengen visa applications on behalf of the Swedish Embassy at the following address:
