Canada Tourist Visa

This is a basic visa paperwork checklist based on the assigned embassy/visa office. You can add extra supporting papers dependent on your nature and purpose of travel/visa category to ensure you’re getting a visa. 1) Passport: a.Original passport with a validity of at least six months beyond the anticipated travel date and at least two blank visa stamp pages.

1. A copy of any prior passports or visas that have been issued.
2. Include all of your previous passports (if any).
3. If a visa request is denied, the information of the original letter sent by the country’s authorities are preferable.

2) Canada Visa Application Form: The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

3) Photo requirements: a. Two recent passport-size photos with a matt or semi-matt quality, 60-80% facial coverage, white backdrop, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note that the photograph must be less than 3 months old, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any prior visas.

4) Letter of Coverage:

1. Covering Letter from applicant, including applicant’s name, designation, passport number, and purpose, as well as who will be paying for the entire trip’s charges, including travel, lodging, and expenses. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Canadian Embassy in Dhaka.

5) Letter of Invitation: (If Any)

6) Forwarding-Letter: a. On the firm’s letterhead, a forwarding letter/NOC from the applicant’s company authority specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.

1. A letter from the educational institution requesting a visa or a student card/proof of school enrolment (if student)

7) Proof of Occupation: a. If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original).

1. Copies of the office ID card and visitor cards.

8) Financials:

1. Company or personal bank statement within the last six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and phone number.
2. Pay stub for the previous six months. (If applicable)

9) Ticket: Itinerary for the ticket according to the trip date

10. Hotel Reservation: Confirmation of Hotel Reservation.
