Colombia Tourist Visa Requirements

1) Passport: a. An original passport that’s also valid for at least 6 months beyond the anticipated departure date which has at least two blank papers for visa stamping. 

  1. A copy of any prior passports or visas that have been issued.
  2. Include all of your previous passports.

2) Application for a Visa:

(Application must be completed online at http://nuevadelhi.consulado.gov.co/en/procedures services/visas/visa-online-request) It is necessary to submit a hard copy.

Please keep in mind:-

a.All of the papers on the checklist, as well as the first and last pages of the passport and a photograph, must be uploaded to the aforementioned URL.

b.Uploading supporting documents (the entire file) should not exceed 3 MB per application.

3) Photographs: a. Three recent passport-size photos with a Matte or Semi-Matte finish

  1. 60-80% facial coverage, light backdrop, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
  2. Photograph must be no older than 3 months, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any prior visas.

4) Covering-Letter: A letter from the applicant detailing his or her name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be liable for the whole cost of the trip, including travel, lodging, and expenses. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Colombian Embassy in New Delhi. In the subject line, the visa category must be specified.

5) Occupation Proof

  1. A letter from the office, such as a NOC/LOI letter on the organization’s letterhead pad, specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, duration of travel, sponsorship status, and other pertinent information. Addressing “Visa Consular, Colombian Embassy.”
  2. Copies of the office ID card and the visitor’s card (3 copies)

6) Tour Itinerary: Itinerary for each day of the trip.

7) Occupational viability: a. Certificate of incorporation/company registration

8) Financials: a. Personal ITR for the previous three years; b. Original personal and business bank statements for the previous six months, fully signed and stamped by the bank.

  1. Salary slip for the previous six months

9) Airline: Ticket Itinerary for the date of travel.

10) Hotel Reservation: Make a hotel reservation according to your vacation dates.

11) Authorization Letter: An authorization letter on stamp paper is necessary, authorizing the visa handler to submit and receive the passport from the embassy.
