Egypt Business Visa Requirements

1) Passport: An original passport with a validity of at least six months further than the planned departure date and at least 2 empty pages for visa stamping is required.

  1. A copy of any prior passports or visas that have been issued.
  2. Include all of your previous passports (if any).
  3. If a visa request is denied, the information of the original letter sent by the country’s authorities are preferred.

2) Egypt Visa Application Form: The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

3) Photographic Requirements:

Two current passport photos with a matte or semi-matt texture, 60-80% facial coverage, white backdrop, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note that the photograph must be less than 3 months old, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any prior visas.

4) Covering-Letter: A cover letter from the applicant detailing the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be liable for the whole trip’s costs, including travel, lodging, and expenses. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Egyptian Embassy in Dhaka.

5) Letter of Invitation:

6) Forwarding-Letter: On the applicant’s company letterhead, a forwarding letter / NOC from the applicant’s corporate authority specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.

b)A letter from the educational institution requesting a visa or a student card/proof of enrollment.

7) Proof of Occupation: a. If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original).

  1. Copies of the office ID card and visitor cards.

8) Financials: a. Company or personal bank statement within the last six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and phone number.

  1. Pay stub for the previous six months. (If applicable)

Working hours (Embassy): 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Working hours (Consular section): 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday.

From 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, passports will be delivered.

The Egyptian tourist/business visa is valid for a certain amount of time for leisure travel only, with no business operations permitted. An Egyptian visa official stamps or stickers your passport with a visiting visa stamp or sticker that authorizes you to visit Egypt. The Egyptian consulate in Dhaka is generally the place to get a visitor visa for Egypt. When applying for an Egyptian visitor visa, you will be asked to explain why you are visiting Egypt.
