The following are the documents needed to obtain a Macedonian visa: (For classes A, B, and C visas)

  1. Completed visa application neatly and legibly to get the Application Form
  2. A valid and recognized travel document (passport) with a validity period of at least three months beyond the foreigner’s anticipated stay in Macedonia.
  3. 2 recent color photos of the applicant on a white background that accurately depicts their look (3.5 x 4, 5 cm);
  4. Travel insurance documents (individual or group policies issued by an insurance firm in the country of residency).
  5. Documents providing for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay in Macedonia (the letter of guarantee from a natural person, i.e., the invitation from a legal entity must be verified by a notary public)
  6. Documents demonstrating that the applicant possesses sufficient means of subsistence for the duration of their residence in the Republic of Macedonia and also for their come back to their country of origin or for travel to a third state, or documents demonstrating that the candidate is able to receive such method in a lawful manner (possesses prepared finances in a domestic or foreign convertible exchange rate, possesses a valid passport).
  7. Travel Itinerary, i.e., aircraft ticket reservations

IMPORTANT:

  1. Any foreign national with a valid national passport and a form of valid multiple entry Schengen visa type C (valid for all Schengen member countries), valid U.K. visa, valid USA visa, or valid Canadian visa with a validity period of at least 5 days after the planned stay in the Republic of Macedonia does not require a Macedonian visa, but may stay for up to 15 days, while the total duration of subsequent stays in the Republic of Macedonia must not exceed 15 days.

 

  1.  Any foreign national with a valid passport from a third country who is actually needed to get a visa for entry into the Republic of Macedonia may enter the Republic of Macedonia’s region without obtaining a Macedonian visa if the tourist has permanent resident status in an EU as well as Schengen member state.
