  • Tourist Visa Requirement
  1. Passport: An original passport with a validity of at least six months beyond the anticipated travel date and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping is required.
  • A copy of any previous passports or visas that have been issued.
  • Include all of your previous passports (if any).
  •  If a visa request is denied, the information of the original letter sent by the country’s authorities are preferred.
  1. Visa Application Form for the Netherlands:

The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

  1. Photo requirements: two recent passport-sized photos with a matt or semi-matt quality, 60-80% facial coverage, white backdrop, and no border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note that the photograph must be less than 3 months old, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any previous visas.

  1. Covering-Letter: A covering letter from the application detailing the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be responsible for the entire trip’s costs, including travel, lodging, and expenses. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Dutch Embassy in Dhaka.
  2. Letter of Invitation: (If Any)

 

  1. Forwarding-Letter: 
  •  On the applicant’s company letterhead, a forwarding letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.
  •  A letter from the educational institution requesting a visa or a student card/proof of school enrolment (if student)
  1. Proof of Occupation: 
  • If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and original photocopy).
  • Copies of the office ID card and visitor cards.
  1. Financials: 
  •  Company or personal bank statement for the previous six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and phone number.
  •  Pay stub for the previous six months. (If applicable)

Visas are provided to Bangladeshi visa applicants who wish to go to the Netherlands in a variety of categories, such as:

Information on visas: A Schengen visa may be required if you plan to stay in the Netherlands for up to 90 days. The Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands is no longer offers Schengen visas as of June 1, 2012. Travelers who wish to visit the Netherlands or Belgium for less than three months can apply for a Schengen visa through the Sweden Visa Application Center at the Swedish Embassy in Dhaka.

 

There is an appointment system in place at the Swedish Embassy. Please contact the external service provider listed below (not applicable for online applications) to schedule an appointment.

Suppose you are unwilling and unable to apply online. In that case, you may submit your application materials in person at the Swedish Embassy, based on the appointment you got from the external service provider, VFS (not applicable for online applications). The Netherlands Embassy in Dhaka is still accepting applications for long-term visas (greater than 3 months, i.e. employment, study).
