- Tourist Visa Requirement
- Passport:
An original passport with minimum 6 months validity beyond the anticipated travel date and at least two blank pages for visa stamping is required.
a copy of any prior passports or visas that have been issued
All of your prior passports should be included.
- Online Visa Application Form:
Completed Online Visa Application Form (http://evisa.mae.ro/home).
- Photographs:
four recent passport-size photos
Finished in a matt or semi-matt finish,
Photographs with a white backdrop and no border should be used.
Face covering of 60-80 percent (Size: 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm).
- Covering-Letter:
A letter from the applicant who describing his or her name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be liable for the entire cost of the trip, including travel, lodging, and expenses. The Visa Officer, Romanian Embassy, New Delhi, India, is the recipient of this letter. In the subject line, the visa category must be specified.
- Invitation Letter:
Letter of invitation/tour booking confirmation from any Romanian tour operator. The Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Inspectorate General for Immigration has approved the invitation (Recommended).
- Trip Details:
Itinerary for each day of the trip or a tour voucher from a licensed travel operator.
- Occupation Proof:
Forwarding-Letter:
A letter from the office, such as a NOC/LOI letter on the organization’s letterhead pad, detailing the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, duration of visit, sponsorship status, and other pertinent information. Addressing the “Visa Officer, Romanian Embassy in New Delhi, India.”
If you’re self-employed or a business man, you’ll need a trade license, a certificate of incorporation, or a memorandum.
Copy of office ID card/visiting card (3 copies).
- Financials:
Hardcopy of bank statement (salary)/personal bank statement for the last six months, clearly stating the bank’s name, telephone number, and authorized bank seal and signature (e-statement is not acceptable).
Company Bank Statement for the previous six months, explicitly stating the bank’s name and telephone number (if self-employed/entrepreneur).
- Ticket:
Itinerary for your ticket based on your travel dates.
- Hotel Reservation:
Make a hotel booking for the duration of your trip.
- Health Insurance:
To cover the costs of repatriation, urgent medical help, and/or urgent hospitalization – For single / double entry visa holders – for the duration of their stay in Romania.

Romania does not have an embassy or consulate in Bangladesh; the closest Romanian embassy is in India.
The application for a Romanian visa is completed online at http://evisa.mae.ro/. A bar code is attached to each completed application. Within 3-7 days, the online application is validated. Within a few days of the validation being completed, an appointment is generated. In most cases, the visa applicant will be given an appointment date with a gap of 5-7 days in between. The entire procedure is completed online. The applicant receives an email message after each stage is completed.
According to the appointment date, our Delhi office submits the documents, printed application form with bar code, and passports. The visa is normally given within 3-7 working days after that. Please remember that in mind, all of the time frames stated are based on our experience with past situations. Each step’s processing time may vary depending on the embassy’s decision.
