Russia Tourist Visa

1. Passport: 

An original passport with minimum 6 months validity beyond the anticipated travel date and at least two blank pages for visa stamping is required.

• A copy of any previous passports or visas that have been issued.
• Include all of your previous passports (if any).
• If a visa request is denied, the information of the original letter sent by the country’s authorities is preferred.

2. Russia Visa Application Form: 

The applicant must complete and sign the visa application form.

3. Photo requirements: 

Two current passport-size photos with a semi-matt finish.

Please note: the photograph must be less than 3 months old, scanned/stapled, and not have been used in any previous visas.

4. Covering-Letter: 

A covering letter from the application detailing the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and who will be responsible for the entire trip’s costs, including travel, lodging, and expenses. Addressed to: The Visa Officer, Russian Embassy in Dhaka.

5. Invitation Letter: 

Original and copy of the Russian Federation’s Federal Migration Service’s Invitation for Entry. In the Russian Federation, the invitation will be organized by inviting a person, a business partner, or an educational institution. Copies are not taken into account. Originals of Tourism Voucher or Confirmation of Receiving of a Foreign Tourist received from a Russian Travel company registered with the Consular Department of the Russian Federation, should be submitted by those planning to visit Russia for tourist purposes.

6. Forwarding-Letter: 

• On the applicant’s company letterhead, a forwarding letter / NOC from the applicant’s company authority specifying the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit.

•  A letter from the educational institution requesting a visa or a student card/proof of school enrolment (if student)

7. Proof of Occupation: 

• If the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor, a company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and original photocopy).

• Copies of the office ID card and visitor cards.

8. Financials: 

•  Company or personal bank statement for the previous six months, clearly stating the bank’s name and phone number.

•  Payslip for the previous six months. (If applicable)

9. Make a reservation for a plane ticket and a hotel room.
